The Middle East is a region where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, frequently leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly ways of walking around.

But this year, as demonstrations across the have risen the rate of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered into sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints in the world, one company is making the most of the growing pressure to discover options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, currently their client-list includes McDonald's.
